Earnings and Revenue Trajectory
AI Review
The company's earnings headlines look scary at first glance, but they hide a stabilizing operational core. A massive 5.16 billion euro net loss in fiscal 2025 was almost entirely caused by writing down the value of past overpriced acquisitions rather than day-to-day business failure. Beneath that accounting noise, recurring operating earnings remained positive. Recent performance confirms that this financial bleeding is slowing down. First-half 2026 revenue stabilized at 1.90 billion euros on a streamlined perimeter, with core store merchant volumes returning to positive territory. While revenue from traditional bank processing continues to shrink, cost cuts are helping operating profits recover.

Profitability & Margins
Margins and Operating Efficiency
AI Review
Profit margins suffered a steep drop due to aggressive pricing competition from modern online rivals and the necessary purge of risky merchant accounts. Operating margins fell to under 3% in 2025 as duplicate technical infrastructure devoured revenues. However, profitability is starting to rebound as internal cost-cutting takes hold. Headcount reductions and shutting down redundant software systems are expected to deliver over 200 million euros in structural savings. As fixed overhead shrinks across stable transaction volumes, operating margins are positioned to steadily climb back toward historical norms.
