Earnings and Revenue Trajectory
AI Review
The company's earnings trajectory demonstrates a clear cyclical turnaround following extended customer inventory digestion. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, revenue reached 4.17 billion euros, generating 423 million euros in quarterly net income as high-density power delivery demand began accelerating. This operational rebound reflects robust demand for server power stages and stabilizing automotive microcontrollers, reversing past cyclical weakness when automotive destocking pressured group profits. Headline numbers conceal important underlying dynamics. Trailing financial figures remain burdened by historical trough conditions and substantial acquisition-related intangible amortization, making valuation screens look deceptively expensive. Guided fourth-quarter revenue near 4.7 billion euros confirms that recurring earnings power is expanding steadily as production volumes recover.

Profitability & Margins
Margins and Operating Efficiency
AI Review
Profitability margins are rebounding rapidly after bottoming during the fiscal 2025 inventory correction. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, segment result margin recovered to 19.1%, with management guiding fourth-quarter margins toward 23%. This margin expansion is fundamentally propelled by operating leverage on higher fab utilization and a favorable product mix shift toward complex server power architectures. Two structural crosscurrents will shape future profitability. On one hand, 300-millimeter wafer manufacturing efficiencies and pricing actions support gross margins in the low-forties range. On the other hand, heavy fixed depreciation from newly opened facilities and aggressive pricing competition from Chinese discrete manufacturers will temper operating margin gains beyond historical peaks.
