Earnings and Revenue Trajectory
AI Review
The company's latest financial results tell a clear story of accelerating operational momentum following its corporate reorganization into a pure-play aerospace business. For fiscal 2025, revenue grew 18.5% to $45.9 billion, while trailing twelve-month revenue reached $50.7 billion by mid-2026. This top-line expansion is driven almost entirely by the commercial services division, where high-margin engine maintenance and certified spare parts billings surged over 25%. Crucially, reported accounting profits translate directly into real cash generation. Trailing free cash flow reached $8.40 billion, closely matching reported net income. This pristine cash conversion confirms that operating performance reflects genuine customer demand rather than accounting adjustments, backed by an enormous $170 billion services backlog that provides multi-year revenue visibility.

Profitability & Margins
Margins and Operating Efficiency
AI Review
Profitability has expanded dramatically as the business mix shifted toward highly lucrative commercial services. Operating margins widened from 13.3% in 2023 to 19.1% in 2025, with commercial engine services surpassing 27% by mid-2026. This margin growth reflects undisputed pricing power, as airlines must purchase certified manufacturer parts to keep planes legally flying. While accelerating deliveries of newly assembled engines will temporarily dilute overall margins, this is an intentional trade-off. New engines are essentially sold to create a captive customer base for the next thirty years. As newly delivered LEAP engines mature into their first scheduled overhaul cycles, high-margin repair work will steadily push consolidated operating margins toward 22%.
