Earnings and Revenue Trajectory
AI Review
The company's headline revenue continues to surge, reaching $5.40 billion over the trailing twelve months with quarterly growth exceeding twenty-five percent. This momentum is fueled by strong enterprise demand for Falcon Flex subscriptions and modular cross-selling across cloud and identity security. Customers are committing to larger, multi-year contracts, which generated an impressive $1.57 billion in trailing free cash flow. However, this cash generation conceals persistent accounting losses, as trailing GAAP operating income remained negative at -$119 million. The gap between cash flow and genuine net income is largely created by heavy stock-based compensation, which treats employee equity grants as non-cash charges while steadily diluting outside shareholders.

Profitability & Margins
Margins and Operating Efficiency
AI Review
Subscription gross margins remain elite at roughly seventy-five percent, demonstrating strong underlying pricing power and the efficiency of delivering cloud software. Once the core sensor software is installed on an enterprise endpoint, delivering incremental security modules incurs very low direct marginal cost. In contrast, bottom-line operating margins remain under persistent pressure, registering at negative 6.1 percent in fiscal 2026. High customer acquisition costs, aggressive marketing overhead, and competitive discounting against integrated platform rivals consume the company's gross profit, delaying the realization of meaningful GAAP operating profitability.
